Career Summary

Climbing is Alex Honnold’s full-time job and passion. He got his start in the sport at a very young age. After Alex dropped out of college, he would go to Joshua Tree to climb or he would drive to Los Angeles to see my girlfriend. Both of these trips were taken in his car. However, it was not until 2008 that it received recognition when the solo climbing of the Regular Northwest Face of Half Dome was featured in the film Alone on the Wall. As a result of its achievements, Alex 2012 decided to start contributing one-third of its money to solar projects that aimed to expand people’s access to electricity in different parts of the world.
