Courtney Clenney has been FINALLY arrested – Courtney Clenney, a 26-year-old OnlyFans model, was charged on August 10 with second-degree murder with a dangerous weapon following the April 3 death of her lover Christian Obumseli.
Hawaii County Police said in a statement that they assisted the US Marshals Service in apprehending the OnlyFans model in Laupahoehoe. According to reports, officers employed a Miami-Dade County, Florida, arrest warrant.
The arrest followed a four-month investigation into Obumseli’s death. According to the Miami Herald, the model’s defense attorney, Frank Prieto, confirmed the model’s arrest on the afternoon of August 10 and revealed that Clenney had been receiving treatment for substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder in Hawaii.
The model is believed to be suicidal after the killing and has previously been institutionalized. I’m very stunned, he said, especially because we were assisting with the investigation and had volunteered to willingly give her up if she was accused.
He said, “We look forward to defending her in court.” Clenney, also known as Courtney Tailor, is reportedly being held at the East Hawaii Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court at Hilo District Court on August 11.
The crime’s specifics
Clenney, who has two million Instagram followers, is charged with stabbing Obumseil in the chest on April 3 during an altercation at their apartment complex in Miami’s affluent Edgewater neighborhood. As was indicated earlier, Clenney reported that her partner had been stabbed in the shoulder when she phoned the police at 5 p.m. on April 3.
Clenney’s lawyer claims that Obumseli seized her by the throat and forced her to stab him.
He stated that the two had been estranged at the time of the occurrence and that Obumseli had been after her for a while prior to the attack. Her friends have also alleged that she was violent toward her deceased partner.
Obumseli’s family and friends, however, dispute the claim made by her legal team that she is a “victim of domestic abuse.” She attempted to provide first aid as best she could, and she called 911, according to Prieto in a previous interview with Rolling Stone.
